I have had this phone for more than 12 months and my main phone is now the K810i. But I still use my W810i mp3 player from time to time.
Does anyone else with this phone experience pops and crackles when changing tracks and turning on and off? Also when some of the tracks start, it will skip the first note or so, this doesn't happen with every track though.
I know it's not a problem with the tracks encoding, as I use the same memory card with my K810i and W810i (with pro duo adaptor) and there are no problems listening to the same music on my K810i.
My phone was originally branded O2 and I loaded unbranded firmware some weeks ago via Wotanserver. I think the "crackle and pop" problem was there before, but don't think the second problem was there before.
Could there be a problem with the fireware?

Well I have since flashed it back to R4DB005 via Wotanserver (I had some spare credits) and the "popping" problem was not as bad. So then I updated it to R4EA031 via SEUS and the problem seems to have got better.
I haven't noticed the 2nd problem with the intros of the songs being there yet....
