Hello guys, well, I'm a rabid Kimi fan even when he was still a rookie upstart at Sauber Petronas, well into McLaren, and now with Ferrari.

So, what do you think? After a couple of times of being almost a world champion, here he is at last --- a World Champion! Now Finland has two (the other being Mika Hakkinen!).

Too bad for Lewis and Fernando for 2007. Guess, luck seemed to have sided with Kimi finally. Nevertheless, Lewis was simply phenomenal and I guess, Fernando's best effort wasn't good enough this year.

Congrats Kimi!!!

Hi...

Could it be that the excitement between Alonzo and Hamilton is primarily due to the internal issue hounding McLaren since day one of this season (read: Ron Dennis favoring Lewis over Fernando).

Dennis is quite obvious in his preferential treatment of his protege over the reigning champion, which, i think is unfair. champion or rookie must be treated equally, right?

Anyway, the last two races proved to be Hamilton's heartbreaks. Alonzo just could not "go beyond" his usual performance. Kimi simply went past his limits and got his sweet reward...

The concluding race was live over at (ESPN) Star Sports here in our country later last night till the wee hours of the morning (11:30 pm to almost 2:00 am!). But it was all worth it! This final race was simply dramatic for the three title contenders and for the whole F1 sport as well.

I think Lewis didnt make it to wdc is partially alonso fault.
Im very dissapointed with alonso, he pushes Lewis goin wide at the first lap, im so angry when lewis fall into 8th place

Raikkonen is actually the third Fin to win the Formula one world championship. The first was Keke Rosberg in 1982 in a Williams.

I´m very happy for the Iceman, he deserved it. But still, I would have been even happier to see Hamilton win, because it would have been cool to see everibodys faces when a first year rookie wins Hamilton did a very very good job and I really hope he wins next year.

Alonso did what!?!??!
Check the race again, you might find that it was Hamilton's fault all the way.

I am happy that Kimi won since i'm a "Ferraristi".

Hamilton lost the championship and it the only one to blame.
He could just hang in 4th behind Alonso and win the champ nice and easy, but noooooooo... he had to pass Alonso in the next corner (how childish).
Oh well his "rookieness" appeared in the decisive moment.

FIA (UK), Dennis (UK) and Bernie (UK) did everything (bending rules included) to give Hamilton (UK) the championship but they failed.

Hamilton could still claim the championship (very unlikely) if McLarens appeal against a fuel discrepancy with Williams goes in favour of McLaren.
