> Need help choosing a UK pay as you go network
Bookmark topic
I have been on Vodafone until now. I spend around 2 months a year in UK. I mainly use my phone for web browsing and text messaging as well as calling to Switzerland.
I seem to remember that o2 does not allow delivery reports on text messages, perhaps it has changed in the last few years?
Anyone who has some advice on which network to go for, please let me know!

Go for o2 using an online sim. Top up 16quid. U get 500txts free with the remaining credit get a wap bolt on for 7.50. And a calls 50 bolt on for 8 quid. With your 50mins . Use them to call a cheap access company like alpha. Theyl only charge few pence a minute to call switzerland.

Thank you. Are you sure you can get text message delivery confirmation when on o2?

o2 do provide delivery reports, just not via the normal option in the handset, you have to manually type *0# at the beginning of every message to receive a delivery report.
you can put it in a template to save manually typing each message.

It only takes a few seconds to type this code in, I don't see the problem with it. The recipient doesn't see the code when they receive the message by the way.

Its not that, I just like to know as soon as a person receives my message. That is all. We all have our funny habits, and that is mine.
