how do i enter the proxy settings in the p990i browser or is there an alternative?
please help

Go to connection manager and edit your wireless connection, then at the top drop the menu down (you'll see the down arrow icon at the top of the screen) and there will be your proxy setting.
It's a shame though, that proxy settings are not shared between the applications. I only managed to get in going in the built in web browser, but if i start im or fring it doesnt connect at all.
