I get the reminder, so lets say I say yes and go through the update process via my K810i. Do I loose my data, info, contacts, pics etc?

I think not... but you'll have to download about ugh.. well many megabytes of data...
Why not just update your phone via SEUS?
And no, you don't lose any info, contacts or data during the upgrade process.

No, you don't lose anything, but it's recommended to make a backup of your contacts/messages/files/etc just in case something bad happens.

imo, it wont delete the data on your phone, it will only upgrade the main(firmware).

Thanks for the info guys, but in the software instaled in my laptop, I can't find any backup option to perform it.

Or do you mean to backup my contacts into the M2 card?
