Does anyone know if you can install the PC suite (P910i/P990i) on any other drive but C:/. I want to install the suite on my portable hard drive and then connect that to my works laptop to sync. Work won;t let me install the suite directly on the laptop.

Theese files must be registrered in the system in order for the software to work, and if you can't install anything, you can't register the files either.

cytech is absolutely right about the *.dll files that needs to be registered on the operating system of the machine where you installed the program.
the program could not be installed on any mobile drive and expect it to run once this mobile drive is connected to another machine other than the one where it was originally installed.
with these points, you can install the program on any other drive than C: and expect it to run on the same machine.

Thanks for the replies.
Any other suggestions? how can I sync my phone and my work laptop without the pc suite. Worl IT, won't allow me to install it.
