Opera was the responsible for the only 2 problems I've found until now.

One: Opera made my phone auto-restart itself after some browsing, to improve performance (yeah, right)

Two: the Serious One!
I was forced to hard reset the phone because Opera became damaged.
For no reason I can think of, my Opera/Internet icon vanished!!
Even the standby screen icons with shortcuts to Google (etc) lost the icon, and clicking on them nothing happened.

Result: The restore went perfect *BUT* the default themes were not restored (that was the only thing I noticed missing)

==> Anyone knows where I can get them?
The default P1i themes

Thank you

What version of Opera? I've been using Opera 8.65 for Smartphones and a few versions of Opera Mini and have never had any such problem.

Did reinstalling Opera solve your problems?

Opera 8.65 is the one that comes with the phone, right?
I didn't reinstall Opera because I thought it was embedded on the firmware. I did a master reset and a restore afterwards.

@pnf1973
Thanks!!
Your Googling is obviously better than mine!

I suggest u do reflash ur phone if u had problems with opera, sounds like its faulty and only an update will repair it and ull get ur themes back as well. Thats my point of view.

LAU, if you force an update your phone through SEUS, you will get all the themes, etc, back...

It's
- Opera 8.65 for Symbian OS ("636")

I don't trust SEOS yet
My firmware is up to date and Opera is working fine gain.
It became corrupted, but maybe it was due to some reset on a bad timming (like on a PC when you pull the plug while it's still on)

I'm an optimist

I had the same problem with Opera in P1 and I had to Master Reset. I did a restore and eveything was fine but I had to do the internet and email settings all over again. Not a very pleasant experience...
