Sorry if this has already been mentioned but my k850 doesnt seem to be able to take a decent picture indoors.
My long trusted w900 takes a better snap even without an extra 3 megapixels and a xenon flash.
All the k850 pics turn out darker.
Anyone else?

yeh it's a problem with the k850i's synch with the shutter and flash.
an easy (albeit temporary) solution is to enable red eye reduction on the flash, this seems to make photos look better!

what are you talking about....k850 takes MUCH better indoors pictures then k750, k810, (and of course w900)...whit flash or whitout flash.
w900, k750 takes realy bad indoor pictures..looks realy blurry & unsharp.
tell me when you find a w900 who have this quality on indoor pics:
(no flash of course)...the first pic is taken in low light and still it have sharpness..(its sensor is realy good for low light/indoor pics)

@battman
Seems this is a well known issue. You may want to take a look at thread-
software>K850 firmware overview.
I hope se will fix this soon.

Some people remain oblivious to the fact that same of us are having problems with flash photography regardless off the camera settings. Indoor photo's for us are taken much better for us at the moment WITHOUT the flash.
more on the subject here too

I was having issues with it, until today. I had left the plastic protection on the back till I found a case worth having, anyhow, I didnt think that would effect the amount of light the sensors gets and just to be sure I peeled it away in that corner to be sure and no different, totally dark pics. Today I thought bo**ox to it and took it off totally and hey presto top quality pics.

Maybe the xenon flash is a factor, but megapixels dont make any difference
