> T68i reboots when syncronising w/ mightyphone
Bookmark topic
I've attempted to test the
http://www.mightyphone.com service that's recently been advertised at the top of the esato.com site, and (as I'm sure you know) it allows use of the SyncML function to sync your phone contacts, and calendar.
When it starts to sync, it says "Syncronizing Starting", then "Syncronizing Sent entries 1", then reboots and throws me back to the PIN entry screen. It then immediately reboots again before I can enter anything and puts me back to the PIN entry screen again!
It does this whether I connect using GPRS or just dial-up, and always at the same point. I've used GPRS quite a bit on it already without problems, but not for intensive transfer like it must be doing when it sync's. Could that be the problem? Has anyone seen this before, or have any ideas what might be wrong?
Thanks guys!
BTW, I'm using firmware R2E006.
EDITED to delete out the wrong smilie!

Yeah, sounds like a similar problem. I was thinking about getting the firmware upgraded to the latest version, to see if that helps, but it looks like you're on quite a recent one anyway, so maybe not.
Something else my phone did this morning, was restart itself again just while it was sat on my desktop charger. It did exactly the same thing, where it restarts, dumps me at the PIN entry screen, then immediately restarts again!
Looks like I'll be taking it back to the store, and swapping it soon.

Just uppgraded to newer sw,R6A012.Don't have any problems now,but it seems the problem only occurs when I sync many contacts (200 or so).And of course,I don't have any more changes left in the program.So further testing is not possible without adding a new account....

Thanks for your reply EricSony, I'll have to take mine to a service centre to get upgraded.
I will post the results then!

@EricSony
I had problems with synchronizing my contacts. Calendar and tasks went fine, but the contacts halts after 9 entries. Called Telenor which said they might have problems with GPRS and sync. They are going to upgrade "something" which may causing my problems in January. I manage to sync with dial-up and a T39 (other contacts), but not using T68 and GPRS.
