> Finding Contacts in P1i
Bookmark topic
Hello there!. I am writing here with one problem, for which i have no solution yet. So, i have about 800 contacts. I want to ind a contact, but i cannot remember the first name. I used a blackberry before, and it had a very smart search trough the agenda. If i typed the name of the company, or the middle name, or any other field from the details of the contact, it gave me the quick answer. I have seen that P1i cand only search for the first name, and the first letter of the first name. IS there an app or another piece of software so i cand search in the contacts by any field, or something like that? because for now...my contacts from P1i are useles....Thx

if you remember the last name change the list view of the contacts to the last name first

ok, but let;s say that i want to find all people that work at a certain company. i cannot do that? p910 was able to do that...
if you select find on p910, and give it a word or just a few letters, it searches in any adress field ang gives you all the contacts with that letter combination. i find this feature very useful. even nokia symbian or windows mobile can do that...

contacts, more, new group. name the group then add the contacts you want under the group name. the groups you create appear at the end of your contacts list (up once on the jog dial soon as you open contacts). thats how i use for mass mailing etc

I can't believe the contacts app on the p1i is still the same as the m600i. Windows mobile contacts is so much quicker to launch, and it searches all the fields as you type.
