is there any way to speed up the connection from USB 1.1 to USB 2 using the existing USB cable (DCU 60 i guess) ?

mp3 files take a long time to copy.

I dont know about using the existing cable, but when transferring mp3s, or lots of data, I use a card reader... its loads faster

The w810i support usb 2.0 speed but you must have usb 2.0 port otherwise like tk338 said u can buy card reader
and i think there is PCI Usb 2.0 Card it might by usefull and sure faster than the USB 1.1

If you use an external USB reader (SANDISK!) you can utilize USB2.0 speeds and get ~3MB/sec write and ~12MB/sec read on a SanDisk M2. Not sure about Sony readers or M2.
