i just recieved my k850 and i wanna know how to correctly charge the phone for the first time. i had 3 phones all of them with a rubbish battery life and i wanna do it properly this time. book says 2.5 hours some say 12 some say only 5-6 what should i do?

swhat about that charge in the phone allready sould i turn it on until it finishes. some people say to use the phone while on charge for an hour or so

did my first charge today, 6 hrs.... used it when i got it yesterday, put it on charge this morning when it still had about 25% battery left........ will see in a few days how the battery life is as a result.....

when i first got my phone(w910) i played with it till it was empty then started letting it charge.. 3hour charge was the result being using normal use today and battery is only at 76%

im lovin this:)
alot improved to the w880 - i still love the little one

there is no point in charging over night/long time/12 hours or whatever.

You may as well stop when the phone indicates the battery is fully charged

lithium batteries have circuit protection which causes the charging to stop when the required voltage level has been reached. This is because overcharging could possibly cause an explosion (hence the Nokia battery issues).

btw, Lithium batteries also protect themselves against low voltage since this can cause the battery to fail completely and not be chargeable again (except with special equiment)

u can also wait aslong its total empty first ( let it turn off by itself 9 and put it then on the charger
