Can anyone advise me if the K810 or K850 has push email and what it is exactly? It mentioned something about automatically sending your email without you having to check all the time, but how is this possible as phones are not always "online", thanks for any help

Have tried before using a K810 but always had to check for emails manually or at set intervels set by the phone.

Thanks for that, it looks like that it is run via a Java app which means it would have to go online to check, just like the built in phone email client.

I still don't see the point.

to be honest, me either

i never used it, cos the built in email client does the same at the end and i have to pay anyway for sending/receiving emails ( except i have wifi )

The phone sends pings to the server, on the phone it looks as your 'online globe' is always there but in fact it cost very little!
