> The P1i touchscreen!

I have a question to all who have/have had the P1i! I'm considering getting one as an upgrade from my k800i, but I've already tried the k850i. I HATED it. I hated the fact that when I was on the phone, the bottom of my ear kept selecting options as I chatted. It really annoyed me, so I sent it back to my network provider.
My question is... what is the touchscreen like on the P1i? Are the same problems apparent? Or is the touchscreen disabled when you are in a call?

No. The touchscreen in not disabled during calls. But I don't think that will be a problem on p1i. The screen is a bit lower then the keyboard part.

Hmm... fair enough. I'll probably go into o2 tomorrow and have a look at the phone again. Was going to hang on for the w960i, since it's the same phone, but the Walkman version...
How good is the battery life on it, out of curiosity?

That is a false issue.
If you don't want your skin oil on the touchscreen when you make calls, you learn to void touching the screen really fast.

I'm not so bothered about skin oil... I'm more bothered about sending blank texts, recording calls and putting the call on loudspeaker as I talk to someone!

Keeping the touch screen perfectly clean IS A MUST, otherwise you will scratch it really fast when using the stylus. Trust me on this.
Learn, you will...

I would recommend microfibre cloth to clean the skin oil residue that's how I kept my P1i shiny. I had the P1i I can't say I ever activated anything with my ear

I am still wondering how you're able to activate the touch-keys.. I mean, how do you talk, lad? Do you.. press the screen agains your face? That's not normal..
