I currently own a p990. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it. I seldom experience the memory problems that majority of the users were experiencing. I like how my phone is and with Gdesk it seems like a P1 to me.

So my main question to the P1 users, can you please give me a straightforward answer if it is worth it to upgrade to P1 or just wait for the next generation phone after the P1? I really don't want to "test" the P1 like what we did in the P990

Thanks in advance.

Since you're pretty satisfied with your P990, theres no reason to upgrade minor specs right? so stay with P990 and wait for the new flagship to be announced this november perhaps you've got more bucks to burn and wanted better multitasking

I'd say it is worth it. I know I did it when I found a good price and when I got fed up with the memory shortages.

Everyone is expecting the new uiq flagship to be announced this november so you could wait and see if that happens, personally I don think it will this year.

In a word: Yes.

I've come from being a user of a p990i in flip off mode. While I enjoyed my p990i for the time I had it which was about a year, I'm glad I got the P1i. It feels so liberating to not have to keep closing messaging, contacts or calendar in order to free up memory!

The phone feels better and is a joy to use.

P.S
Was gonna hold out for W960i but it does not really offer anything different and I prefer the querty.
