Now since the T610 and K750 are already out, I think the W810 will follow soon, I hope its safe to say that these three were the undisputed classics of our times.

Hope the forthcoming generation of mobiles will be able to match to their capability!!!

No offence intended, whats so special of the K800? Its just the K790 in a different wrapping, I feel the K790 is a better buy then the K800.

For my money previous classics have to include...

T610
S700
K750
W810
K610
K800 (not so much the K810 the 800 was the original cyber-shot and so should have the title)

and the classics of this generation I predict will be..

T650
W580
S500
and maybe K630
I'm not sure about the future status of K850 as a classic, I think the mass market might not love it.

I must admit I can't see many phones in the current portfolio which will match the effect that the K750 and others upon their respective releases..

Of the current generation, I feel only the T650 is a hit, the S500 is having a lot of issues with the hardware...

maybe the K850 will turn out a flop as there are very very heavy expectations from it.

to be honest, the only one i agree out of current range is t650.

there is no way in the world w580 and s500 can be regarded as a future classic.

both are terribly made, very cheaply, they creak, the slide moves around all over the place, theyve had numrous design faults (keypad) and they feel like a toy. definatly not a future classic. but T650, yes.

No offence, but the K800i was the real deal. K790i came out later to cope with the 850 band you Americans had to have, didn't it?

Besides the 850 band, there's nothing that special about the K790i. I mean, outside of hte US, the K800i is the way to go. It has 3G

My classics would be:
- K800i (the ORIGINAL Cyber-shot!)
- W810i (bloody brilliant all-in-one! At times, the camera's better than the K800i's. Might try some of the camera mods after my exams)
- K750i (never had one, but I longed for one, until i had enough money and got the W810i instead lol hehe)
