Well, the difference is that K810's camera produces slightly better colours and has a PhotoFix feature which (if the shot has come out dark) increases the brightness of the shot to an acceptable amount.
Also, it has TrackID- a music recognition service which identifies songs via exchanging information with an internet server. You just turn it on, it records a small audio clip and sends it to a server and you get the album artist, album and track names. You can also do this while listening to radio on the phone.

Oh, and K810 has these camera shortcut keys which light up when the camera application is running. Also, it has an improved lens cover.

But I suggest you don't switch the firmware. The troubles just aren't worth it. You'll find yourself wanting to revert back to the original K800 firmware.

Ok dude there are so many post with guys just like you coming here and asking the same question millions of times. Please for future refernce use the SEARCH!!!!!!

Anyways

Wehn crossflashing a k800 to a k810 you get 2 added features: PhotoFix and TrackID. (PhotoFix auto levels the photo after you have taken it better than PhotoDJ, and TrackID identifies music by recording a 10 second sample of the song and going online to tell you the artist, song name, and album).

The down side of crossflashing is you loose some keypad back light in areas, even after adding the original k800 keylight driver it still ain't perfect.

Also the biggest dislike of mine is that all the pictures of your phone especially when making outgoing call and receiving an incoming call you see a pic of a k810 instead of your k800, sorta small but annoying.

Well thats everything you decide if you want to do it, and don't forget use SEARCH!!!

**EDit**

BTW its was never proved that the pics of k810 FW are any better than k800's fw. Its the placebo effect thinking its better just because it newer. Personally i believe they are the same

If you like the K810i's looks, get the K810i. It's not that much more expensive.

If you like the K800i's looks (personally I like the 800i much better), then get the K800i.

As Stalix pointed out, flashing to 810i causes problems with keypad lighting, and that alone completely puts me off flashing my perfectly perfect K800i.

I never thought about the fact that outgoing calls would show a K810i instead either lol. Good job, Stalix lol!
