Don't buy the i-mobile 902 if you want a quality MP3 player. The sound quality is OK (just a bit better than average) but the player itself only allows one playlist.

The i-mobile 902 is best suited for those of us who want a good camera and do not care much about the rest of the phone.

Well, I had the same doubts like you, cause I had K750i, which was replacing my camera & mp3 player, because my dedicated camera broke, and I sold my dedicated MP3 player, after I bought K750i. Since I saw i-mobile 902 on mobile-review, I started considering buying it online, so first I searched everything about the phone, and really found every little thing that was published about it on the internet. After seeing amazing samples by many users, I decided to buy it. So I sold my beloved K750i and ordered i-mobile 902. It arrived in 10 days. My first impressions were great, it didn't feel cheap at all, it felt glossy and very well built. But when I turned it on I was a bit disappointed because I was used to SE, but later I got used to it.MP3 player is very good, you have 3 skins, to choose, equalizers, repeat function and so on, only drawback of the player is that you only have one playlist, and since I'm used to many lists because I had K750i, it's a bit annoying. Other drawback is the fact that you can't fast forward the tracks, you can fast forward videos, but not tracks. You get great headphones that look like HPM-70 with the phone, and a 3.5 mm cable so you can plug your own headphones, I'm using HPM-64 with my 902.
Radio is also great, because you can record sound from the radio in high wav quality, and you get good recordings. Again you have 3 skins to choose. Only drawback is lack of RDS, found in K750i.

One advantage the 902 has over the K750i is A2DP! I have successfully paired the phone with my SE HBH-DS970 and played music "wirelessly". The drawback with this is that you loose multitasking of the media player when using A2DP, i.e. you can't put the player in the background and do other stuff.

A few more points for the 902 over the K750i:
- QVGA display showing 16 million colors
- TV out
- USB charging

K750i has USB charging too, but 902 is better because of many other things. Now I have a problem, I want SE phone, but I can't part with my i-mobile 902, because I'm used to it's amazing 5 MP CCD camera.

...and I've been after a 902 for some while(pretty much this whole year), yet only have the choice here of K850i......

SaLiH, sure you wouldn't fancy part-exchange??

Get it from eBay! I bought mine (twice! as I broke my first one accidentally) from there, from eBay user penthaitrading. Do a quick search and you'll find at least two or three sellers offering this phone.

. . .

Here's one quick comparison of K850i vs i-mobile 902 with 800x600 crops at full size from a macro shot:

I've probably just missed maybe 5 or so on Ebay at various times this year altogether! But I'll keep looking, since first seeing shots from it last year, I just haven't seen another 5mp phone which matches it......

And I can manage without playlists, too!

The eBay seller I mentioned, penthaitrading, has one on offer now. His phones are brand new, never used. A bit pricey on the shipping though as he offers courier delivery.

And SaLiH was satisfied with the eBay seller he bought his phone from, isn't that right SaLiH?
