this is not verified ok, but we often claim that we have the longest yuletide season anywhere. just imagine seeing such decorations pop out somewhere (usually malls) and hearing Christmas jingles over the radio and television once the 1st -ber month (September!) comes. and it ends on the feast of the 3 kings (january 6) the next year! i wonder if it has something to do with us being the only predominantly Christian nation in the orient? or it could be plain economics
silly me
anyway, isn't it a nice atmosphere to feel the spirit of the season not only when it comes but for the whole year through? just my thoughts...

I went to Leeds last week and there up already. Back is september in the Co-op they had advent callenars for sale:

Here at my END, they LIKE and LOVE - The Holday Season mooooore than their BIRTHDAYs mate

Went to my local harvester on sunday and they had the christmas tree up!
Mind you i have the christmas lights up around the garage, i forgot to take em down and only noticed that they were still up last month, so thought sod it i'll leave them there!

Gotta disagree i'm afraid... Boxing day is the best day of all. Big shops always start the january sales that day. YEA!!! I always go out and buy the stuff that I wanted, that I didn't get cos I got a pair of socks instead of lol.
