As some of you may know, I was going to upgrade my contract but wanted a K850 aswell, im only about 5 months through my 18 month contract, still I phoned up and upgraded the contract yesterday and while I was about it asked about a K850. The woman said sorry we no longer offer mid contract upgrades, if you want that phone you'll have to buy it at full retail price!!! Is this true?

O2 has never offered early upgrades into 5/6 months into your contact, unless you are a Select O2 customer.

You can still buy it from them though and it doesnt affect on your next upgrade.

I purchased mine from o2 and it cot me £259, so i was really happy as I had an upgrade 2 months prev to that one.

You can however only purchase one from them in he contract period, so whe you next upgrade again then you can buy one mid term.

Hope tis helps.

Yep you can £259.99 its correct price.
they just add it on to your bill.

You have to had a no payments rejected with direct debit and been with them for about 6 months or more

Yep mine goes as a replacement handset, although ive had 2 as the first one went back as a brick.

But o2 sorted it out, with no fuss, one phone call and good customer care.

Happy bunny again
