I don't take my chances just inserting my mobile phones INTO my trouser's-pocket . . . as it might get some scratches when BLENDED with other metallic-materials . . . say like: .45 , .38 . loose-change (coins) and car-keys . . .

my POINT is, so that I can SELL it at a higher price when the time comes that I already want to DISPOSE it . .
Despite those cases, I still clean the covers using my Hanes-shirt every USE (to remove fingerprints .. . you know, SIGN of evidence . . . and I learned that watchin' - CSI
) !
My P990 still has a GENERIC leather case . . 'still have to get me an original one at Semicon - made a reservation already as there's NO-stock available when I paid them a BWISIT last week . . .

I always reserve one pocket for my phone and another for... everything else.
