Hey all!

Since GPS is getting pretty basis in Cellphones, I'd like to set up a thread to all the people who like GPS on their cellphone.

There are programmes that allow you to store maps on your memory stick and navigate you through them using an external GPS antenna.

- Trekbuddy
- Mgmaps
- Nav4All
- AmazeGPS
...

Are examples of such programmes.

The only thing I haven't figured out yet, is how to decently get the maps in the right format on the phone. *SO basicly acquiring maps*

I hope this thread will provide interesting information to people *such as me* who are eager to begin GPS-ing with their cellphones.

If anyone succesfully got one of these programmes working, please let me know how .

as far as I know that phone does not have GPS build in it or am I mistaken, and it is build into that phone?

Those are Navigation maps not GPS.

I like GPS at first I taught it was a gimmick but its improved since the earlier versions.

I like it now!

SE doesnt have a phone for me...
When others phones are teleporting people SE phones will have built in GPS lol!

the point is that the k850i will be transformed into a GPS device...or that's the point at least...

Don't you need a GPS receiver/antenna for that?

This thread is really confusing. After reading it, I still don't get the hang of it.
