hello Guyz!! specially @ tranced.
i have a few questions in flashing between my k750 and FAR manager.
Like in the instruction stated on the other links, i follow all the steps in flashing a CID49 K750i. 1st, faking a firmware(or whatever, with suffix ssw) with XS++. then after that dirty thing, you can now access the phone using FAR manager(like using CID36 phones) then after you customize( accessing FS and shutdown CSFS and remove and plug the battery again to prepare for the flashing (in FAR, FLASH)) you are now to flash your phone with the prefix REST_xxxx.bin located somewhere in the FAR folder. of course, id flash my phones real firmware(R1DB001) and flashing OCCURS ONLY IN 1 SEC!! after flashing, id try to boot up my phone but its no use..
...so instead of flashing my phone in FAR, id try to flash it in XS++( and my flash file is a Gslide trick, where my phone is a mixed k750 and w800) and my phone normally boot up. (but flashing in XS++ takes a couple of minute while in FAR, like i saw in the forum-based instructions, it takes a couple of secs.
in short, why flashing in my FAR manger brings nothing to my phone and its flashing is toooooooooooo fast?? (unlike normal flashing that takes a couple of sec, or minutes maybe)

if im not mistaken, those files your flashing your phone with are not as as big as the MAIN and FS hence you get your phone flashed that fast. i've never flashed a phone that fast as you say. well, i've flashed a phone using that method(xs+far manager) like this:
flash the FS with xs first, then flash the main fake with xs so i can access with far manager, customize the phone with far manager then exit, and finally i flash the real MAIN with xs and voila! that takes me like ten minutes or less.
maybe youre doing something wrong in those steps with the bin file. i know the ssw is the main fake though.
now flashing's got easier with xs++ 3.0.
