Well my w880 seems to have died, thought the battery was flat but it won't charge, at the moment it has the red light on near the c button , but if I try to power up the light goes off and nothing happens...
Anyone know whats going on with it ?

constant red led signifies that the battery doesn't even have enough charge to power the screen(i.e: it's TOTALLY dead). BE PATIENT!!!
After 15-30 mins, there will be enough charge that the phone should blink to life(the LED will go out), then you can start the phone......

Anyway tried what you said and the phone still wouldn't switch on, So I rang t-mobile who I got the upgrade off and they weren't very helpful, just told me to go into the nearest store and they would take a look.
Funny they didn't even test a different battery just said they would send it off for repair, and gave me some dodgy loan phone in the mean time.....
