Hy all,
been away lately.

Now back just to see how the battle is going between the 2.

I still own a K750.

In the meanwhile thinking about changing the phone, and very satisifed by my K750.

I've read the comparison on GSMarena and even if K850 had a beta firmware, I have to admit N95's superiority when taking pictures (basically less noise and less purple fringing). Maybe N95 has more noise on reds.

That is I'll have to wait more to see how lattest firmwares perform.

The only big concern is on GPS and wifi. Not to mention video quality.

As a camera-phone user I have to admit that if N95 can hold picture quality at least parallel to K850, it will be the winner.

Now you.

u mean for which one those should go for? non of them, prefer digi cam over those. but if its up to usability, then only n95. k850 isnt anything special for. a 5mp cam ( quality as it is ), but thats all. with a symbian u have far more possibilities for a really colourful usage, mayn apps, great support. the answer actaully always depends on your needs, for what u need a mobile.

I went for a camera phone once I bought the K750 and was very satisifed.

Very good quality pics, and excellent flash considering that is a phone (yes I also do prefer digicams, but hate to carry them so it's handy to have a good phonecam in your pocket as you go).

Now would like to buy a "stronger" (5mp) phone-cam. The contenders are N95 and K850. While in the past SE did an excellent job, leaving the contenders in the dust, this time it looks like N95 is defending it's camera-capabilities very well.

So unless next firmware realeases will boast K850 picture quality I think I'll stick to N95; GPS, wifi and good video quality make it a winner. If also picture quality holds on, SE is over...

But the N95 is bigger and uglier.

k850 isnt a beauty either

anyway, when it comes to the form factor, i do prefer block fones and to be honest, that n95 slider wasnt really for my taste. but the mentioned features and apps made me to forget it...

Sebby, your avatr shows you as a K850 owner. Did you own a K750 before the switch?

K850 has overall better shots than N95 whichever way you put it. If you dont do this and do that and then crop the pic and then zoom 105% and saturate it and then do that, and instead just leave the frickin pic alone, K850 does the better job.
