> K850i Hardware Fault

So far I have had 4 K850i now...
All have had some sort of hardware fault...
1. dpad was not working when clicking up... unless you did it hard.... and the back was very squeeky...
2. The keypad area the where the numbers started comming of near the end call button and I could see the light underneath... it was getting worse...
3. When I got it there was paint coming off near the camera buttons...
4. The keypad area coming off again... just like phone number 2
I have no idea what the hell to do... this is really annoying me... I seem to be getting problem fones...
Im not sure if I shud stick with the K850i (I do like the phone... a lot but when you keep getting a phone that has something wrong with it... then dont know what to do) or go for the W910i now....
Advice would be good people.... Cause im gonna ring them in little while...

hi SE Naz, try to ring them and tell them what a faulty device u get, see if you can get a new replacement. if the replacement is no better, than should go for the w910 or any kind which u favor

Also, do you want a cameraphone, or particularly an SE(W910)??
If the phone's from O2, and you do want a good camphone, you could try LG Viewty(as it'as on the same tariffs as K850)...otherwise W910 seems to be more stable right now, but of course doesn't have the cam features of K850(also doesn't sound as good according to people on here, not too hot for a Walkman phone)......

Just i keep setting the phone up and start using it to find out... that there seems to be a problem...
Im thinking about them giving me sum sort of discount on my line rental or sumthing or chucking in a big memory card or bluetooth headset...
Any more advice???

Im on o2....
Im not big on photos or music... on occassions It would be nice to take pics and to listen to music.... when im going long travel for work or on anight out jus wanted a a nice SE phone... hate LG.... tried them and cant do them...
They are startin to annoy me big time...

In fact, I have one here with me, in two usage attempts, I've found the flash doesn't fire in time...and today the phone forgot that I'd changed the memory card(yesterday), tried playing music that was on the old card, and(obviously) as it couldn't find it, crashed......
...so I'm not impressed either, and of course, I can't sell a faulty phone on......
You'd think O2 would have tested their firmware properly......

I got mine replaced last week and i noticed that my camera button that takes the shots sometimes works, it usually doesn't work when i press the first time to autofocus..

i got a squeaky one too...and a "deformed" number...there's some foreign object inside the keypad and blocks the light from one of the numbers.
