Hello. I have recently connected to 3's mobile internet service via k800i. Generally i'm fairly satisfied with the service however i have a few technical issues that i need to resolve.

1. Although the phone works fine as a modem and worked pretty much straight away, it now resets its self when ever i answer an incoming call.

2. i am not so happy with the download speeds i am getting. Max tends to be about 38 Kbs. My favourate game quake wars reports pings in excess of 250 and this significantly reduces gameplay. When i am on youtube videos rarely stream without having to wait for the who page to load.

I am running vista.

I would really appreciate some help and advice to resolve these issues if they can be at all. I have checked the data coverage area (bolton, U.K) and it seems it should be pretty good.

I am not as technically proficient at understanding all the technical terms but not newbie enough to not understand what to do. I think this technology is amaxing and am very keen to learn hoe it works.

When i first purchased the internet computer broadband add on, 3 did not activate it and charged me £35 for two hours use. It took me about 4 hours to resolve this billing issue over the phone. I am not being racist but if 3 want all their technical support call centres to be based in India, they should really train their staff up properly to use the technology. I have found it very difficult to get many of their employees to make sense. There is no u.k call centre at all which i am upset about as find the call centre staff very frustrating and i am a very patient lovely chap hence my reluctance to call them about settings on the phones internet. I can't call them anyway. Thought it might be better to ask people who might know.
Thankyou. 1st post on forum.

P.S. anyone recommend a better mobile internet service provider. Cant belive 3 are as cheap as a b.t. landline lol
