well the title sums it up: does anyone know if 4gb is the max that the p1 can read? this is what se told me, but it seems rather silly if true

also does anyone know of any good cases for the p1? i lost the one it came with, but it wasnt too good

i'd love it if there was a case with a flip up and down cover and the ability to use the side buttons. then youd only need to take it out to use the camera. its too much of an investment not to have a screen though!

I have a krussel on order from ebay I may post pictures its its good. I've always had Krussel cases for my p900, p990 and soon p1i.
I modify them a bit by getting rid of the clip thing because i always keep my phones in my back pocket, once you get rid of them it is a lot sleeker to fit in the pocket.
You have to cut some stitches and bash the rivets down but its worth it for the protection from a good leather case

Here is my modified krusell P1 case.


Removed back clip and excess press studs.

Added Velcro to aid stability of front.

Cut out front clear panel, makes the phone dialable in case.

Thinned leather strap to aid access to qwertz pad.

I always mod my cases to make them more useable.
Krusell make good cases but they are impractible for me.

About the case . . . I would HIGHLY suggest this one . . . I am sure ALL of 's P-series fone models will FIT in this case, as I've ordered ONE abroad (USA) some weeks ago . . .

Looks pretty good mate. I was defınately about to get one of those, unforunately got mugged for my p1.. probably switchıng to a HTC kaiser to tell you the truth. mostly because im ın the US and the frequencıes and EDGE wıll help. also there is the issue of windows mobile vs uiq.. i havent used windows mobile but after uıq it sounds pretty good.. bit torrent, skype, more emulators.. etc etc...

now i just have to get a deal on a kaıser here in turkey where electronic taxes are high, find good insurance that covers theft (suggestıons?) then ill worry about a case and bluetooth headphones.. so much work
