i didnt changed the firmware since i bought the phone because the company here in egypt told me that it may not working and it may damage the phone if i tried to update it because i bought it from usa not from egypt my firmware is the original one r9c001

Try changing your headphones, I have and the sound is much better and a bit louder, enough to turn it down..
