> P800 vs Neonode

I checked out the Neonode website linked from another post - looks quiite good, I must admit.
It rates itself against the p800 and also the 3650i (I think thats the number, the one with the big thumb pad) and is smaller than both.
Does anyone have any information on the phone other than the website? The phone may be smaller than the p800 but the p800 website is infinitly better than that carp

It doesn't have bluetooth? Bummer, I like my HBH :-/.
It does look reeeaaaallllly small though which is always a good thing... plus it doesn't have the p800 flip which looks to be a bit of a downer.
Is there lots more information anywhere, like a prelim review or are we stuck with what little information that site holds?

Try doing some research prior to starting another boring P800 comparison thread. You'll realize quickly that Neo-whatitsname-node vapourware isn't quite there yet. And if it ever does get there (good luck to them), you're also realize that it's just a kid's toy, limp and trivial.
It takes a bit more than a cute Flash webpage to create a state-of-the-art product in a league of P800.
In fact, let me say this - almighty Nokia can only wish to have had their logo above P800

This is not realpictures, just project in plastic with a pseudo screen added...
You can see such picture in SE, Nokia or motorola prototypes...
I guess how a so little company can produce such devices with non standards components (LCD, Battery)
To my it's just a company which is looking for $$$
to develop a concept

Like the other poster I'm concerned that although it looks muchly sweet, the Neonode is probably never gonna happen.

Neonode is not vaporware, it's been under development for quite a long time now. It was shown on CeBIT, just like the P800 was, although not with so much hype. Here is an old link:

I'd say that the over-hyped P800 is in a lot of trouble, it has been delayed for almost half a year and now when it is finally about to be released, an even better device appears which will be released around Feb '03. It is smaller, lighter, has a 64 MB SD card bundled and will cost only around 500$ while P800 will go for 800-1000$. I'd say that P800 is history and so is SE. I don't know about you, but I'm really disappointed with this Sony and Ericsson merger, I expected a lot more. But, I guess that when you put two losers together they will still be losers no matter what they do...
