Hi all,

had my K850i for a few weeks now and turned it on this morning to find I couldnt access any option under the 'Messages' menu except write new message. The error 'Operation Failed' appears when trying to click inbox or sent items for instance. As well as this I cannot recieve or send SMS but I can make phone calls.

I remember something similar happening with some peoples k800i regarding the Operation Failed error.

Anyone else had this problem and fixed it? Or should I just phone o2 and send it back?

turn the phone off for 30 minutes..(you can also take the battery out that time).

(it takes 30 minutes for the memory bank to reboot it self)..i dont know if its work...but give it a try

i have the same problem downloading files, and i have lost all of my games and applications, they were there last night but they gone now, i have only had this phone 3 days not happy

yes i had the same problem with my phone.. i couldnt access the applications or games, i got the same error.

i tried a master reset and still nothing.. ive just reported the problem to orange and im recieving a new handset same day delivery

also when i take a picture the flash goes off but my pictures come out black.. is this also a fault with the flash timing?

hopefully the new one will be ok.

otherwise i think im going to ask for an lg viewty.

Apps and games are reinstalled when you update your phone's software. Just send it to your provider they'll be the one to do it or use SEUS.
