What's your experience with A2DP on your P1i? or more specifically, if you happen to have a pair of Bluetake i-Phono Mini, how do those run?

Firstly they are outstanding, when they work. My first pair was great, but randomly after a call they'd lose connection with the phone. The second bluetake's I got, same model, different colour, drop calls sometimes after 5 mins. Even If I don't move, and have an unobstructed path to the phone. But they drop anyway. I'm not sure if I'm asking for opinion on P1i's capability or i-Phono, but has anyone had some decent experience with comfortable, decent sounding headphones taht run A2DP and go over the ear such as:

But sound quality is important. Secondly, are they compatible in the sense taht when you press pause on the headphones, the phone actually pauses the music? Do share...

I have a P990 with a set of nokia stereo headphones. I don't use them for making calls as the microphone on the set is too quiet for people to hear me. I do use them however for listening to music with. I have found if both the phone and the head set are not more or less full charged they start to drop the connection quickly. However saying that, if I start off with them fully charged and use for most of the day, and never have to reconnect them in that time they don't drop the connection.

If you are starting off with both devices fully charged I don't know what the problem could be.

Hope this helps.

Im using my P1i with the sony ericsson hbh ds970 and had good experiences with that. I found that the when i paused on the 970 it paused the p1i and vice versa, the sound quality was great and they paired well.

Recently i've tried out the p1i with the motorola s-9 and i love it. the design of the s-9 is excellent. I like the wrap around and the fact that they are small and almost un-noticable. The controls on it are simple as well as responsive. The call quality is alos really good. All this and sweat and water resistant this is a big thing for me because the ds970 would constantly slip out. The only thing is i average about 6 hrs of use which is really good but of course im always wanting more juice. Hope that helps.

so it's sounding like an issue with these pair of headphones, not the phone. The guy at the store told me he never had a complaint with them, maybe that's just corporate talk.

I have the Plantronics Pulsar 260, which I must describe as mediocre. Sound quality is decent, the controls work as expected, but it makes very annoying beeps for every action.

And as with all sound emanating from the P1, the volume is simply way too low. With maximum volume it's hard to hear podcasts when I'm walking in traffic. When I play them from my laptop I can easily damage my ears, so it's not the headset that's causing the problem.

Where did you find the s-9 so cheap? I looked around and the best i could do was 65$ USD, which is still cheap compared to the regular price of 130$ USD. Id like to get another pair if you could post it or pm id appreciate it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Creative SL3100? I like them because there is an option to use them as a regular wired pair of headphones.

However, it's only headphones, and not a headset. How might the phone handle this? If I received an incoming call, would it try to route the call to the headphones, which lack a microphone?

I have a jabra BT620S.

Excellent headphone really. I use it with my P1i.

Cons:
* Not loud as you expect
* Big for outdoor use (not that bad)

Pros:
* Great Battery life
* Good quality
* Good for making calls
* fw upgradable

I get the highest sound with W580i. With the latest firmware on my P1i I have more connection problems than before. I haven't any single problem with my Sony Vaio laptop though.
