Hi all,

I sucesfully (i think) flashed my K800i with K810 firmware last night. My first go at it so im pleased im not left with a lump of plastic for a phone.

Is it possible to flash it with the K850 firmware? Would I get the nicee psp type menu's n stuff?

Is there any whay of backing up games from the fone before flashing? I lost a few quids worth last night.

As ever many thanks
Joe Dunne

hi

k800/k810 is different to k850. k800/k810 is a 3mp phone camera while the k850 is a 5mp camera phone. one uses a dpad while the other uses a joystick.

here's a comparison between the 3 phones:

k800 vs k810 vs k850

K850 is DB3150 and K800 is DB2020.

yeh i wouldnt bother even trying it.....if by the highly unlikely chance u dont completely brick it, it will most probably have been flashed with the new CID security system and therefore no loaders will be able to flash it back to k800/k810

Given that most of us k850 owners are banging our heads in frustration at the firmware, I wouldn't bother just yet!
