> K850 (o2) Limit on foreign lang texts

Hey all,
Got my K850 from O2, and its great apart from one thing!
The size of the text messaging!
Compared to the W810i you get a much smaller no of characters in a text when writing in English, but if like me you speak abother language and want to use the T9 with it I've found that you can only write 4 LINES of characters and then a messages appears saying that im in SMS 2.
this happens with 3 different languages.
Ive spoken to S-E and they say its O2 that has put this limit onto the handsets. Ive tried to use a friends Vodaphone version of the K850i and this problem doesnt occur. Seems to be only O2
Why are o2 doing this?
more importantly HOW CAN I CHANGE THIS ??
please help......
