I don't know if this is a silly question or not, but what is the branding like with the UI etc. on the K850i from Vodafone? And also, is it possible to revert it back to non-branded if you see what I mean?

Branding = customization done by a specific operator. in this case, vodafone uses to change the whole menu, layout, etc. on its own.
at the moment these kind of phones cant be unbranded as it's a new technology(DB plataform). the xs++'s crew is working hardly with this.

Once past the initial shock though, you can change the colour scheme to something much more pleasant.
The things you're stuck with (until de-branding) are:
Custom startup and shutdown screens - present on all other branded phones
operators own menu logo's - they're not too bad
but perhaps the most annoying is the permanent binding of one of the touch-keys to "Live". I'm forever hitting it by mistake, or finding out I've left it connected for hours.

So,Raaab,you have vodafone branded K850?
Could you tell me,I have also vodafone branded K850 and when I write new message,the window looks like I'm writing an mms message,not sms... Is there any way to change it?

For me, the SMS and MMS editors are similar, but not the same. The toolbar is the same though.
I cannot specify the message as an MMS, but it switches automatically to MMS when I add any content not supported by SMS, such as a picture.

Yes, I think the reason Voda have done this with our K850 s is to try and bring SMS and MMS closer together and make it easier to send MMS (and therefore spend more money). I only noticed it was different yesterday when I was playing my friend's O2 branded K850.
