ok, I love my w810i (Cingular/AT&T), but am lookin to mod it...
Debrand, Unlock, Flash, etc... the works! I think I got the case mod down (parts on the way for the k750 back) but am wondering how to insert the k750's keypad's to get white glow instead of this god awefull orange.
First off, what can/can't I do? Will Cingular (AT&T) stop me from doing any of this (IE will phone still work with texts and internet?) If so can someone give me a step-by-step MORON proof walkthrough of where to start? I have tried other threads and even other forums, but no one seems to want to check or help the w810i users
Any help is appreciated! THANKS!!!!

hi
here are some things you might find useful:
The flashing/modding thread - All phones - CID 51/52 now supported
all the things you need to know ask them there.

@FlawedLegacy
You will lose push email and gain Pop mail.
Personally I use push email alot and has stopped me from flashing.
I much rather have push maill then flash themes. But that's me. Love those flash themes, however refuse to part with my push mail. I use push mail for work reasons and I see every email coming in. A must for me.
I'm also on cingular.

I dont do email on my phone, so wouldnt bother me... text and internet, occasional yahoo IM, but can live without that...
so got those software boys on that, what about me swapping out the k750 keypad with mine? I've heard this done and looked at both, but the 750 has a hole in the middle, will this simply replace and work or is there extra modding needed? HATE this orange! lol

@flawedL:
try to see the link below, although its not exactly your concern, just thought it might give you ideas:

i'm just not sure about the K750 keypad to a W810. the latter simply has more keys than the former. unless of course you want to lose some functional keys in your W810 (think about the Activity and Walkman Keys!)
anyway, goodluck.
cheers!
