So, the wait has been awhile -- just wondering if they are really going to deal with this issue or we just going to live with it?

The green tint is a mild pain. I'd much rather have that than shoddy build quality though! Oh and the P1i camera, for all its faults, is still the best mobile phone camera I've ever used. Not the best on the market, no, but then I wouldn't want the phones that do have better cameras as the rest of the phone isn't as good as the P1i. I can't believe people seriously expect a perfect camera in a mobile phone. Have you all forgotten how terrible they used to be only a few years ago? They are for taking snaps, not professional photographs. Sometimes I can get cracking results with my P1i, especially macro, and it all depends on the available light and the user's skills. The P1i is still my favourite phone on the market.

@sunking: Well, expecting a perfect camera has nothing to do with the green tint. That simply shouldn't happen and is totally unnecessary (and probly the result of bad firmware or a bad sensor, both of which should not happen with a phone of this class).
Although I agree that one shouldn't expect digicam results from a phone I DO think one can expect decent pics from a phone nowadays... especially when the producer advertises with it.
I don't find the P1i pics to be bad, but they could be quite a bit better as well. And that green tint should be fixed ofcourse...
