Hello folks,
Against my best intentions i've went and bought another iPhone, this time its an o2 - UK model with firmware 1.1.2 on it.
So what i wanna do is get it up and running without signing up to one of those nasty over priced tariffs that o2 have for the iPhone.
What i would like to know is how do i do it??

Unfortuantly for now there is only one thing you can do which is wait !!! as whilst the earlier versions have been cracked i don't believe this version has been seen in the states yet or therefore cracked as of yet.

Am I missing something, but isnt the sensible thing to do wait until this over hyped toy goes on sale in France in its truely unlocked state?
My better half has for some reason decided it looks just the kiddy for her but I aint being conned into paying £800 for it in year one!!!!!! I am going to France on 15th December anyway so will buy one SIM free there.

From what i have read the old iPhones have a different Base band so they can be successfully downgraded and unlocked again, these newer iPhones have a new Base band that so far can't be cracked.
