I'm thinking of buying a k850i tomorrow if my local CPW has any in stock in green......I'm not too bothered about software as it can be updated....as long as the build quality is good

i recommende the k810i, k850i has too many bugs, you re going to complicate your life taking the phone to a service center every day.
wait until

@ pulsar
Why still in two minds ????
get urself a k850i as it is the next generation mobile cum camera from sony ericsson ... And as regards to the bugs , they are all firmware related .... I am sure sony will solve them in the next f/w update which should be around the corner ... may by the end of November .... go for k850i ..

Despite its issues, I'd still recommend the K850. If you can find one that is built well - which should be all new stock now - the software can be resolved. If you're buying from CPW, they'll happily continually replace it within 28 days. I'm on my 4th.

Can't you read the forums? The K850 is riddled with bugs, and not only s/w! I hear complaints of flash issue, creaky cases, loose battery cover, dust under the screen, and button cracking! Is this list not a significant deterrent?
Ohhh.. and not to mention the constant restarting and problems with the s/w. I'd get the phone if your in the UK where its cheap and can be returned easily. But for America subs which will pay ~550 USD and have to incur HIGH shipping costs every time it messes up, well you'd have to be CRAZY to buy this POS!
