What about this card...??? -> http://www.katerelos.gr/product_info.php?products_id=4415

Is it ok for the k850i...??? I mean i would like to jump for the 8GB version but I'm going to be very dissapointed if the phone doesn't like it (and not sure how/where I can check).

I'm waiting on delivery of an 8gb micro SD myself and since the 4 and 6gb work there is no reason to doubt the 8gb

The K850i will support upto 32bg with a firmware update and when the cards have been released of course.

who do you say it needs a firmware update?

M2 and SDHC standards are not size dependant and there is no reason for SE to specifically limit the capacity

Cards are not size dependable, however software is.

I see it every day in my job, Bios and software issues

Card Readers are the biggest problem. Some card readers read 2gb and 4 gb cards fine, however some dont with out a software or a firmware update.

Cameras are the same, I have one camera that can only read upto 1gb and my sony up to 8gb.

Computers are the same, About 6 years ago most computers couldnt read anything above 20gb drives, so new hard drives wernt seen correctly and on some hard drives had jumpers on to limit them, however most computer manufactures put a new firmware for the public to download so that people could update the bios to allow larger hard drives. Same thing happened a few years later with 120gb drives, some computers couldnt see them correctly.

Windows XP is the same, Windows XP may struggle to see more that 3gb of memory even though the Bios of the Computer may show 4gb (If you have 4gb installed). This is because the software kernal needs to be re wrote.

Its all down to software.
