Ok I just got hold of the euro 1 firmware files for my n95-8gb and will be attempting to flash it to generic in a day or two. Know if there are any Phoenix users here that can advice as I have blown one or two n95-1 before with it.
I am guessing its a long shot but I am sure wonders never cease.

no cracked Phoenix yet and i think the current version doesnot support flashing N95 8GB ..
