i Guys,

Had this phone for the last week now, love the design, and fantastic big clear display, however, I think its a complete shame that having a huge display is ruined by having massive font when you can fit so many lines with this screen resolution. Especially when browsing your contacts list or text messages!

I sent an email to Sony Ericsson just asking whether a menu text size option would be available in the future. As expected their crap response didn't really confirm that regarding the future but only stating its not available now.

I was wondering if any other people are bothered by this HUGE font, and more importantly, has anyone found a hack yet?

Cheers,

yeah same, i hate it how the W910's INBOX and SENT MESSAGES view's are all large with details. i remember back in the older models there was an option to change the list views to fit more messages per page.

guess the only thing is wait for new firmware and it might add some extra things..

Good for folks whose eyesight requires large fonts. Otherwise it's a waste of space, and makes it difficult to navigate too when editing text.

Adjustable font size another easy thing to do i imagine, one that could've endeared SE to a lot of its UI admirers. But they chose not to do it... It's baffling.

It's still on 240x320 QVGA screen. but it's 2.4 that's why the text font looks so huge..
My old T68 there was S.M.L text size you can choose. How ever I don't miss it

So if not available yet, do you think it is still possible for some clever person than I to hack it sometime in the near future? I can't imagine this being impossible, but I understand making themes won't give me any option either!
