Whilst from my desktop I can add attachments to emails on both my Hotmail and my Googlemail accounts I can't find out how to do it on my P1.

Am I missing something?

I don't have experience on that, but if everything fails, acivate the POP access from the GMail and use the P1 e-mail program.

I'd guess that you're not accessing the normal web interface, they are picking up that you are using a mobile browser. Have you tried turning off the "fit to screen" feature? that might show you the missing bits.

I was using the Google Mail program for the P1, not the browser. When I linked to GMail through Opera as you suggested I got the normal window with the option for attachments. So thanks for the tip.

Also as you suggested, Hotmail through Opera automatically detects my mobile and switches to a mobile web page so that must be why I can't send attachments there.

I'll have to stick to Google Mail in future if I want to send attachment.

I have the same annoying problem. There is no way to acces windows live hotmail from p1 because it detects the browser and redirects you to msn mobile and it sucks because you can't upload or download attachments. I have to fwd them to my yahoo account because wap site supports downloads (don't know if uploads, I didn't try yet). Btw, you can acces regular Hotmail (not Windows Live) and regular Yahoo. Opera Mini supports Windows live hotmail but when try download, opens Opera built in, redirects to Msn mobile and ..... you can't download a thing. I don't know if is Opera's or Msn business or both to fix this. The only solution is to switch back to regular Hotmail wich is supported.

Well, they did this stupid autodetection.
Even if you have a good smartphone you cannot redirect to a PC site, you go to mobile site.
The same with Google.
It's so stupid.
It's the msn instelf. At Esato it asks you what to choose - wap device or PC. I always use PC.

Is there any hope for us that someday this problem will be solved by msn?
