can i plug my p990i to my pc or modem and access the internet using my home isp,

im on ntl,

but how can i do it,

Well, you can just install the software suite that came with your P990 on your PC and, once it's installed, plug your phone in with the supplied USB cable, the same one you use for synchronizing contacts, doing backups and transfering pictures etc. The connection to the Internet will (or at least should!) happen automatically.

But given the short length of the cable, that's a bit pointless really

What you need is a wireless router or wireless access point to either replace or accompany your NTL modem. That way, you can use the 990's built in wireless internet.
