I'v got a new Sony Ericsson W580i

And i read a thread on this forums about Flash Menu's?
For Sony Ericsson's.

I'v googled about and apparently its possible to flash a O2 branded phone and use flash menu's the 2 programes that came up were :

Davinci
XS++

I'm a beginner at this stuff, the only thing iv ever flashed is a PSP's Firmware.

Can someone please show me a guild to flashing, what firmware to use, installing flash themes ect.?
And can you recover your mobile phone if you brick it?

XS++ is the best in this case as it's free. davinci aint.

My phone is branded and LOCKED to O2 .. Will this make a difference?

no, it doesnt matter. you can even debrand your phone with XS++, but not unlock it.
