I thought somebody else would have posted this question earlier, but I can't find it anywhere:
Is it possible to answer incoming calls by just opening the keypad on the SE P990i? And off course the opposite - to end the call by closing it.
Cheers!

It has been asked before. And the answer is no and no.

One of the reasons for 'no and no and no and still NO' might be that you do not even need to open the flip to answer, a simple pressing of the button will do that! Same goes for ending the call.
Most phones where you open the flip to answer/end HAVE to open/close the flip in order to handle a call!
Duh, was that so hard

I agree with Michael . . . I think it's HARDER to OPEN/CLOSE the flip when making/retrieving calls than JUST simply pushing the keypads on the FLIP-cover

. . .

Maybe some people think that open a flip looks "cooler" than pressing a button

The P990i that Danny Baldwin had on Coronation Street had this feature but I think this was unique to him and the Television people don't like to reveal exactly how they managed to get his to do it!
