Hi,
I have tried to update the firmware of my phone thru update service(Thru data cable over internet) and it shows that your phone software is up to date. My current firmware version is CXC1250705R1KG001070418. Please suggest if this is the latest update available for my SE W830i.(India). I do have two issues with my SE W830i.
1.Call gets halted (Call is in progress but can not listen the other person).
2. Poor music quality. Earlier music quality was great but for the same songs, its very poor now.

Request you all to suggest something please.

according to wotan, you have the latest one (http://www.wotanserver.com/en/supported-phones/sonyericsson-w830-debranding/)

if you cannot listen the other person, it could that earpiece is broken. have your phone got damaged?

and the other thing is that you could change the acoustic(these files are responsable of the audio in the phone)

you can find it in this thread tough there is only one link working(w880): The flashing/modding thread - All phones - CID 51/52 now supported

note: only the zapf will work in your w830, not the apf.

Thanks again.I am not able to download it right now because of the rapidshare thrashold. I will try it later. I will ask one more question - Can i update my camera driver for better quality?

here is a tutorial:

this is a good guide. check the Uploading files via FSX *optional* part. this is the method you need to upload the acoustic(the files that are inside)

Yes it is a very good tutorial and i have also downloaded xs++ but now the problem is that i dont know in which directory the acoustics file goes.(i need to keep the files in the same folder path under xs++ directory) and hence the fsx fails. do you know something about it (i know it is something like /tpa/....). my phone is w830i.
