Hi all

I have a problem with my P990i: it refuses to connect to the Internet using wifi and bluetooth internet. Whilst it has no problem at all connecting using GPRS and 3G.

I tried a hard reset, and the secret menu, and reflashed the phone, and still, no use.

And I searched Esato, and couldn't find anything.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated

Thanks for your prompt response.

But it doesn't quite work on Bluetooth Internet too. Any suggestions? It doesn't seem to be a coincidence to me...

For WLan this is normally due to DNS info not being received from your router. You should manually enter the DNS server address for your ISP into the WLan account for your router.

Problems with Bluetooth connections are more difficult to resolve. I myself have never managed to share my WLan on my laptop with my Phone via bluetooth. TBH the two are probably not related.

Actually speaking, some programs work perfectly with any internet connection, its only the internal web browser of the phone thats having the stupid 'Could not find remote server' problem.

Is this a hardware defect?

Moreover, I cannot adjust power save and rts options in 'Defaultwifiaccount', where the phone simply connects automatically to, say, public hotspots (where setting an account inside the phone is not necessary).

More recommendations would be much appreciated
