Ok boy.
I love SE. I alwais have SE and now I have a wonderful W950i that i love.

I am sure of buying a w960i, but now I'm in trouble with the release of HTC p3650 (aka polaris).

Pro of Polaris:
-beutyful
-usable with touch flo
-GPS inbuilt
-small
-hsdpa
-more flexible of w960i

Defect of polaris:
-no huge storage
-no walkman software, walkman accessories ecc
-it has windows!
-no wonderful tech like trackid and very fast tranfert file

Pro of W960i:
-better phone ever made
-wonderful
-great camera (same spec of polaris, but I doubt that a windows device in better than a SE...)
-huge storage
-a real walkman phone

Defect of W960i:
-it has symbian (I like symbian but there's not a lot of software)
-no gps inbuilt
-a w950i with cam, wifi and better screen (no real innovation).

Now: I love w960i, but I think it's the same of w950i.
Polaris is beauty, but I hate windows.
However a windows device work better on same thing such gps navigation (on my w950 tomtom refresh every second, too slow for my car!) and video playback.

So try to give my an non-subjective opinion.

Its a tough choice Darth, i too have the same dilemma.

I can't stand the idea of turning to the dark side and owning a windows phone, (would have thought it be easier for you )

Also i think the W960 only has b mode Wlan, and while this is a minor issue, i find more and more routers have g mode as default.

To me it comes down to which phone i can actually get my hands on, currently i don't believe the W960 is going to be on the UK market till next year, as for the HTC.. no idea

Sorry i guess this doesn't help, but at least you know others with the same choices...

Polaris will be release on the first week of dicember, for 600-650 euros.
I can take it for less money, but I don't think on this fact.
Win can be modded, but if I can remove the "start" button icon, and place a W in the mediaplayer...the choice will be much easier!

with the help of wisbar advance, u can acgually customize the top bar and get rid of the start button all together.

for now i'm liking my htc tytn II more than SE could offer in their smartphones range
