I have a Fido Z710i and bought unlock code from one of the websites that advertise DB2020 unlock by code on Rogers, Fido, Cingular, Bouyges.....
Well, turns out the 16-digit code supplied (after 1 week, not the promised 72 hrs) does not fully unlock the phone. It only unlocks "Network". The "SP" is still locked.
Vendor wasn't too helpful and said my overseas SIM cards are bad (hence "Insert Correct SIM"), and then sent me a cruiser unlock ID and tried to send me away.
I am waiting for them to resolve this. So buyers beware.
